THE SANDWINDER
I purchased the buggy a few years back at a swap meet and the thing has sat ever since. Being a VW enthuiast for years, it had been a long time since I had owned one and looked forward to the project. However, who has the time! Five years later it was time to make a decision, sell it or fix it. So, I put it in the paper to finally clear out the garage. But, having it up for sale suddenly increased my interest again and after a week of people trying to steal it away from me, it was time to get back to work. I got the tools out and jumped back into the job. After five years, it was time to get it done. We will see how long it takes to put it on the road this time! Already though I am ahead of the game as all the title paperwork is done as I needed it to sell, so I feel pretty good this time around. Follow the progress of this sandwinder project.
